Suzanne Grant was a beloved resident of Mt Kisco, who was so many things to so many people. She volunteered endless hours to our community, local organizations and our school district and most recently was the co-owner of PORCH, a home and gift store in Mt Kisco. She could do anything and make it seem so simple. She always found room in her heart and almost impossibly, time in her schedule to help anyone who asked. She lived every minute of the day to the fullest, always putting family, friends, and community first. She was truly one of a kind.
To honor Suzanne and to continue her passion for helping others and improving our community, The Suzanne Grant Foundation was created by her family and friends. Always motivated by the desire to make the world a better place, Suzanne leaves behind a legacy of warmth and generosity. Those who are inclined to follow her example can do so by making a contribution to her Foundation.
We're looking forward to our next community event at Forged Iron on Thursday, March 26. Please register and join us!
Our annual Benefit Concert in The Suzanne Theater in November was a huge success. It's our yearly opportunity to showcase not just The Suzanne Grant Theater, but also the incredible musical talent in our school district. The faculty and students put on a show to remember!
This year’s Fox Lane Community Volunteer Day will be on Wednesday, May 20th, 2026.
In 2025, we were very happy to continue to support the music program in our district by helping Bedford Hills Elementary School start a Ukulele program! New instruments and storage materials are now in school and the kids are loving it!
Mount Kisco Elementary School performed a dual language production of Disney’s “The Jungle Book”. As we did last year with “Aladdin”, urgently needed equipment was provided by The Suzanne Grant Foundation. The performance was incredible! Our other elementary schools also jumped into theatrical performances. Pound Ridge Elementary School performed Frozen, West Patent performed Annie, and Bedford Village brought us Finding Nemo!
We were pleased to help fund an annual trip for our Hillside students to Lake Compounce. All students in grades 9-12, along with staff members, participate in this memorable event as a way to honor everyone’s achievements.
We also supported an upcoming trip for the Middle School Rock Ensemble by providing equipment that will be shared across many of the District’s musical ensembles.
So many of our students rely on school-provided meals over the course of the year. Unfortunately over the summer when school is not in session, the source of these meals vanishes. It's a heartbreaking and preventable situation. The Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry created the School's Out Supplement (SOS) program and is squarely focused on this issue. They provide local children with lunch items while schools are closed. We are happy to partner with the SOS program and have helped to distribute healthy, kid-friendly foods to over 600 children each week to combat summer hunger.
